One input shaft is connected to the steering wheel, while the other is controlled by an electric motor through a spiral gear. When the vehicle speed is low, the control motor rotates in the same direction as the steering column to increase the steering angle; when driving at high speed, the control motor rotates in the opposite direction to reduce the steering angle.
