An Italian company releases a custom electric motorcycle with 3D printed parts.

According to foreign media reports on March 29, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer recently released the latest Volt electric motorcycle. Its chassis and body are made of 3D printed components, and there are three models available: Scrambler, Roadst, or Cafe Racer. The retail price has not yet been announced.


    Volt is led by industry veterans Nicola Colombo, Valerio Fumagalli, and Adriano Stellino, and is primarily focused on customizing motorcycles based on customer needs. Volt is considered "a personal creation for riders, a design canvas for the high-end experience of custom rides."


    The Volt electric motorcycle weighs 245 kilograms, can charge at least 80% within 40 minutes, has a range of 200 kilometers, and can reach a top speed of 177 kilometers per hour. Riders can independently choose engine torque and braking settings, and monitor its charging status remotely through a mobile application. Volt is also equipped with Ohlins suspension and Brembo brake system.
