The China Export Motorcycle Quality Technology Promotion Committee was established in Chongqing.

On March 31, at 14:30, Hu Long Net reported (Chief Reporter Huang Jun) that recently, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China entrusted the Chongqing Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau to organize seven directly affiliated inspection and quarantine agencies across the country involved in the quality and safety supervision of exported motorcycles, three local governments and departments in the locations of national export motorcycle quality safety demonstration zones, five technical and research institutions, and 24 major manufacturers of complete motorcycles and parts to gather in the mountain city. They held the founding conference of the "China Export Motorcycle Quality Technology Promotion Committee" and a seminar on enhancing the quality brand of the Chinese export motorcycle industry, discussing the "2017 Action Plan for Improving the Quality of Chinese Export Motorcycles" and jointly promoting the enhancement of the quality brand of Chinese export motorcycles.

The meeting reviewed and approved the "Work Specifications of the China Export Motorcycle Quality Technology Promotion Committee" and other related normative documents of the promotion committee, and held discussions on how to promote the enhancement of the quality brand of China's export motorcycle industry. The inspection and quarantine bureaus of Chongqing, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Jiangsu, and Yunnan, as well as well-known domestic motorcycle manufacturers such as Chongqing Lifan, Zhejiang Zhongneng, and Guangdong Daye, shared their experiences.

A relevant person in charge of the Chongqing Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau stated that the official establishment of the China Export Motorcycle Quality Technology Promotion Committee marks the beginning of a public service platform that brings together various parties involved in the co-governance of industry quality. This platform will establish effective communication channels between the industry, enterprises, and government regulatory departments, focusing on providing quality technical assistance to Chinese export motorcycle enterprises in areas such as standard technical regulations, industry quality assessment, anti-counterfeiting, inspection and testing, and responding to foreign technical trade measures, jointly promoting the enhancement of the quality brand of Chinese export motorcycles and accelerating the cultivation of a new competitive advantage in foreign trade for the Chinese motorcycle industry centered on quality, technology, brand, and service.
